Making Picks - use the "Picks" link

Each week, you must select a winning team and assign "confidence points" for every game. The "confidence points" used must be between 1 and the total number of games for that week. For example, if there are 13 games for this week then you must assign between 1 and 13 points to each game. You cannot use a confidence points number more than once, it cannot be negative or a fraction. Once a set of picks is made, they can be revised up until the deadline.

Missed Picks

If a player does not submit their picks before the deadline, the player will get zero points for that week. Any picks submitted, in any way, after the deadline will not be accepted.

Deadlines

The deadline is one minute before the first game of the week whatever day that happens to be. The player summary grid will be available within one hour after the deadline.

Weekly Summary

Scores are updated automatically and when the game is finished, the final score is recorded. The Weekly Summary of winners is calculated based on the number of games that are final. It can be used to see the results based on the games final. The weekly summary will only be accurate after the Monday Night game is final.

Weekly Winners!

For each person, for each pick, the person wins the number of confidence points assigned if the selected winner actually wins the game. At the end of the week, for each person, the total number confidence points they have won is tallied. The person with the most points after the Monday Night game wins for that week. The person with the second most points will receive 1st place points, etc. Your comissioner will designate the point winnings.

Ties

If two or more players tie for a particular week, we then look at the total points each player allocated to the Monday Night Game. The person who is closest to the combined score for that game gets the higher seed. If the players are the same number of points away, then they will tie and split the winnings.

Overall Season

A running tally of the total points scored over the season is being kept. At the end of the year, the person with the most points will win a prize. Depending on the number of users, a second or third place prize will be optional.
